The stage is set. The costumes are done. The actors are on stage. The official run for God of Carnage begins tomorrow night (September 16, 2011) at 8pm.

Two sets of parents (4 people if you can’t count) come together to discuss their sons playground skirmish. Within the 90 min show discussions turn to chaos as these four very put together people turn to tantrums and tears as they try to come to a decision on how to resolve their son’s fight.
This show can very much be classified as a dark comedy and definitely touches on the hypocrisies of modern society.
It has been produced in London, Chicago, and our very own Broadway! The original cast on Broadway included Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini, and Marcia Gay Harden. It won the 2009 Tony for Best Play and all four of its actors were nominated for Best Leading Actress/Actor in a play with Marcia Gay Harden WINNING the Tony for Best Leading Actress in a Play.
